DIGGING Results

This result will create a framework for teachers which will be common for all the countries in the project. And with that taxonomy as the base, all the questionnaires will be created, to ensure they are measuring all the taxonomy developed. Each partner will create at least 2 questionnaires, and globally we will have a minimum of 14 questionnaires that will be used in the baseline test. This can be easily transferred to other countries, and also to working teachers to design their training programmes. In addition to the previous, R1 is responsible for delivering the technical environment to be used for the participation of users in baseline tests.

This result will consist on the translation of the Baseline tests in all the languages of the project and will be uploaded to the Moodle platform. These tests will provide data to allow teachers to focus on the areas where their students need more improvement, and to select resources to develop focus on those areas with lower results.

This result is very important and will go in a cycle with all the answers from the baseline tests, in order to include in the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) as much data as possible from all the testing along the project. That TNA will provide a set of resources which are interesting to be developed and linked with the guidance service for teachers

The main objective of this result, is to create a Guidance Service where teachers can find ways to improve those competences, and not only ICT teachers will be able to do so. If we combine this with the results of the baseline tests of a classroom, the system will offer concrete resources and activities to work with them for the group of competences with lower levels. It can be seen as a GPS for improving digital competences. And besides this, as all this will be available together with the Learning Platform, courses about active methodologies that can be used to promote digital competences, will also be available.
